City Secretary
City of Robert Lee

The City of Robert Lee is accepting applications for a full-time City Secretary for the smooth running operation of our office where your professionalism, initiative, accounting skills, and people management will be welcomed. Duties include accounts management, payroll, production of financial statements, taking minutes, and other duties as requested.

Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or certification or equivalent required; graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in accounting or related field preferred. Five years experience in a similar position required. A valid driver's license is required. Must demonstrate a knowledge of Microsoft Word for Windows; Excel or other spreadsheet or accounting software. Two or more years of supervisory experience. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication.

Responsibilities and Duties: Preparation of financial statements for monthly review. Fully reconciling all accounts. Preparation of budget versus actual for monthly review. Payroll processing and recording. Accounts Payable - fully reviewing all invoices. Accounts Receivable - recording payments.
