TMCCP Examinations

The certification program is comprised of written homework in each of the four courses, an examination over each course's completed homework, and attendance at two seminars per course.

TMCCP enrollees are eligible to take a course exam once they have successfully completed the course homework and it has been graded.

  • WHO can take an examination?
Any enrollee whose course homework has been successfully graded is eligible to take an exam. Submit the exam application form and fee at least two weeks prior to the exam date.
  • WHAT does the exam cover?
The exam covers the questions in your homework. Examination questions are a mixture of multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, and essay questions.
  • WHEN can the exam be taken?
Exam dates are offered the day before each TMCCP seminar, usually in the evening. (When you take advantage of an exam date is up to you: because an enrollee's work in the Certification Program is self-paced, enrollees are ready to take their course exams at different times of the year. Therefore, we offer exam dates five times a year, one before each seminar.)
To qualify to take an exam, all of your homework in that course must have been successfully graded (submit homework at least two weeks in advance of the exam date).
  • WHERE do I take the exam?
The exam is held the Wednesday before each TMCCP seminar at the seminar hotel (it is usually held in the evening). Administrative Assistant Miriam Sheehan emails reminders to all TMCCP enrollees about examination opportunities six weeks prior to each exam date.
  • HOW do I apply to take an exam?
Apply to take an exam using our exam application form. We must receive your application and fee at least two weeks prior to the exam date.
